Best NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 3

Kyle Pitts breakout game incoming. Giving you my two favorite NFL player prop bets that I'm confident will pay out for Week 3.

Each week I’ll pick a couple of my favorite NFL player prop bets over on DraftKings Sportsbook, track my progress, and see how I do at the end of the year. Here are my best picks for Week 3.

Another amazing week of NFL action is in the books, and our perfection continues. Last week I had Justin Herbert over 300.5 yards passing and Ezekiel Elliot over 81.5 rushing + receiving yards and nailed both. Herbert handed in 338 yards through the air, and Elliot posted 97 rushing + receiving yards. I was a bit surprised with how few points were scored in that Los Angeles Chargers @ Dallas Cowboys matchup, but we still hit both our props!

That brings us to 4-0 on the season, and we head into Week 3 on a hot streak.

Kyle Pitts, 55.5 yards receiving — OVER

While Pitts hasn’t lit the league on fire like some predicted, he has clearly been a big part of the game-plan for Arthur Smith’s ailing Atlanta Falcons attack. Pitts has played pretty well, and he’s absolutely flashed the talent that had more than a few fantasy analysts pushing Pitts into the third round of our fantasy drafts.

The Falcons fly to New Jersey to take on a New York Giants side that has allowed the fourth-most points to opposing tight ends early in the season. The 55.5 yards receiving prop for Pitts could pay off in the first half.

Antonio Gibson, 82.5 yards rushing — UNDER

The Washington Footballers are, apparently, going to stick with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback. In a matchup against an explosive Buffalo Bills offense that is now complimented by a stout defensive unit, I don’t see how Gibson will get the opportunity to hit anything near 83 yards rushing. I expect Washington to get down early and be forced to play catchup.

Even if my narrative doesn’t pan out exactly, the Bills have already shut down Najee Harris and all the Miami Dolphins RBs this year, Gibson will be, unfortunately, next. And so it is with great regret that I submit my first under of the season.

Hit me up with your favorite props in the comments!
