Welcome to defense D/ST rankings and streamers for Week 12 fantasy football.

It was another good week for fantasy defenses in Week 18, with eight teams scoring more than 10 fantasy points. There was however one standout performance, with the Patriots scoring a season high 28 points against the Falcons thanks to 4 sacks, 4 interceptions (including a pick-6), as well as shutting out the Atlanta offense. A distant second and third were the Texans (16 points) and Chiefs (15 points), though both secured their highest DST fantasy scores of the season in their team’s Week 11 victories. My top streaming option for Week 11 didn’t do the job as the Dolphins scored just 5 points as they defeated the Jets, finishing as the D/ST 16. My top DFS recommendation was only slightly better as the Browns scored 8 points in their narrow victory over the Lions, finishing as the D/ST12.

With less than half the season to go, I go again in Week 12 to bring you my D/ST rankings for the next round of matchups. I will continue to post my rankings each week, and give you a team you can look to stream, plus my favorite DFS plays for the week ahead. We have just two teams on bye this week, so that means no Chiefs or Cardinals in the rankings for Week 12.

Stream of the Week: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers (8% rostered)

I like the match up here with the Bengals currently my 10th rated defense per my NEFF ratings facing off against my 21st rated offense in the Steelers. The Bengals bounced back strongly after the bye in defeating the Raiders comfortably on the road and at under 10% rostered, should a solid spot start in a key AFC North matchup.

Alternative streamer – Houston Texans vs New York Jets (19% rostered)

DFS Play of the Week: Carolina Panthers @ Miami Dolphins ($3,100)

A good mix of value and upside in the Panthers this week as the Dolphins are currently my 23rd rated offense and the Panthers my 14th rated defense. With the Panthers offense showing signs of life with Cam Newton as the starter, it should allow the defense to get after Tua and force some turnovers.
