It was a good week for my fantasy football D/ST rankings in Week 2. Accuracy-wise I was ahead of the Fantasy Pros expert average and both my recommended start of the week (New England Patriots) and top DFS pick (Carolina Panthers) finished as top-5 fantasy defenses last week. I hold my hands up that my top streaming option of the Cardinals did not go so well as they only got you 1 point in their shoot out with the Vikings. With more data at hand I go again in Week 3, and will continue to post my rankings each week  and give you a team you can look to stream, plus my favorite DFS plays for the week ahead.

Top Streamer of the Week

Carolina Panthers @ Houston Texans (19% rostered) — Get in there quick to get those waiver requests for the Panthers as they play on Thursday Night Football and face a Texans team rolling out rookie Davis Mills in his first NFL start after Tyrod Taylor went on IR this week. The Panthers have been a my No. 2 rated defense through the first two weeks per my NEFF rating and lead the league in sacks with 10, and have conceded the fewest points over the first two weeks with just 21 points allowed. Get on that waiver wire now and get your Week 3 off to a great start.

DFS Value Play of the Week

Washington Football Team @ Buffalo Bills ($2,600) — If you are looking to roster a cheap defense to be able to full the rest of your team with studs, then the Washington Football team could be the one to fill that slot this week. It feels like a little bit of a boom or bust play as the Bills offense has the potential to be so potent, but the Football Team have some top tier talent that have the ability to be able to cause some serious problems for any offense in the league.
