Welcome to defense D/ST rankings and streamers for Week 8 fantasy football.

It was another strong week for fantasy defense scoring in Week 7, with 7 teams scoring more than 10 fantasy points, led by the Buccaneers with 21 points against the Bears. My overall rankings were in line with the Expert Consensus rankings at Fantasy Pros this week, with my biggest miss coming from the Panthers who I thought would do a number on a weak Giants team but then put up just two fantasy points in a blowout loss. My stream of the week for Week 7 was a solid choice as the Saints finished as the D/ST8 with nine points, and my DFS play of the week did even better as the Cardinals scored 11 points to finish as the D/ST6.

With an ever growing amount of tape and data at hand, I go again in Week 8 to bring you my D/ST rankings for the next round of match ups. I will continue to post my rankings each week, and give you a team you can look to stream, plus my favorite DFS plays for the week ahead. With just two team on bye this week, that means no Raiders or Ravens in the rankings for Week 8.

Stream of the Week: Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Jets (15% rostered)

This is the perfect streaming scenario where the matchup and team availability line up to offer a great option for the week ahead. The Jets were already one of the league’s worst offenses as Zach Wilson was struggling to adjust to life in the NFL and with him now sidelined with a strained PCL, his backup Mike White gets to make his first start after stepping in last week. The Bengals defense is on the rise and is currently my 10th ranked defense per my NEFF ratings and after five sacks against the Ravens last week, should feast against a poor Jets outfit.

DFS Play of the Week: Buffalo Bills ($3,300, DraftKings) vs Miami Dolphins

I was really surprised to see the Bills priced as the D/ST7 this week as they face a Dolphins team that I have ranked as the league’s 25th rated offense to the Bills’ No. 1 defense. Add in the benefit of the Bills coming off a bye week and playing at home and that has all the ingredients for a top DFS week. They will be in every DFS lineup I play this week at this price.
