Emmanuel Sanders, not Gabriel Davis, profiles as Buffalo Bills’ WR2

The Buffalo Bills added wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in free agency and looks to be “potentially the WR2” in Buffalo (per Joe Buscaglia)

Fantasy Impact: Gabriel Davis had some breakout games last year for the Bills and many expected him to take over the WR2 role with John Brown leaving. According to Buscaglia, Sanders actually profiles much closer to what the Bills look for in a wide receiver, winning on many of the routes the Bills like to run. Personally, I like Sanders over Davis in fantasy football this year so this news is wind in my sails. Buscaglia noted “Allen often looked for Sanders during spring workouts, trying to establish a rapport with him through meaningful reps.” That’s a good sign for a potential WR2 in a high-powered offense you can get basically for free in your fantasy drafts.
