Time to take a look at Week 4 fantasy football kicker rankings.
We had some amazing finishes in the NFL in Week 3, and as it happens on the regular, those finishes were sealed with those unheralded heroes of the gridiron: the kicker. Justin Tucker kicked a 66-yard field goal after the Baltimore Ravens did just about everything wrong in giving him that shot. Mason Crosby sealed the Sunday night shootout with zeros on the clock to push the Packers to 2-1. And of course, to cap off the week with our Monday night matchup, we saw 0 field goals. Perfect.
On to Week 4 with our ranks and a few fellas of note.
Week 4 Standouts
Daniel Carlson (K1) — Carlson kicked for the most points in 2020 and he picked up right where he left off with the high-flying Las Vegas Raiders offense. Yes, yes I am surprised I am typing this out. Carlson may sit atop these kicker ranks for quite some time.
Younghoe Koo (K12) — Last year’s K1 in points per game is this year’s K23. The Atlanta Falcons did enough to take the game the New Jersey Giants handed to them, and Atlanta got that win thanks to a last minute kick by Koo. And so as we head in to Week 4, the Falcons will host a Washington Football team which has given up more fantasy points to kickers than any other team in the NFL. So, will we see Atlanta finally do enough to feel comfortable starting Koo? My vote is not.
Evan McPherson (K6, 4% rostered) — While the Cincinnati Bengals are not exactly lighting the league on fire, this week they square off against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. With the Jags unable to stop anyone or force teams in to any kind of adjustment, Joe Burrow and the Bengals should live on the Jags side of the field in their Thursday night matchup.
