Welcome to kicker rankings and streamers for Week 7 fantasy football!

Tyler Bass, the leading fantasy football kicker, averages 10.5 points per game bootin’ ‘em through for the Bills. The 12th ranked kicker, Brandon McManus, is averaging eight points per game. On average, in 2021, kickers have all been pretty… average.

The question for us then is, should I just keep rolling with this guy, hopefully one of the top-12 kickers, or should I go through the trouble of making a waiver claim?

If you’re rostering 2 kickers… don’t.

So with that line of thinking firmly top of mind, I’ll call out a couple kickers currently outside the top 12 who could end up tilting matchup in Week 7.

Jason Sanders vs Atlanta Falcons

Sanders hasn’t scored more than eight points in any contest, and he registered a goose-egg in Week 2 against the Bills. But the schedule is loosening up a bit for Miami as we move in to the middle of the season.

In Week 7, we saw Tua Tagovailoa move the Dolphins offense efficiently against the lowly Jaguars. Now in Week 8, the Dolphins will host the struggling Falcons.  The Atlanta defense is giving up the 11th most points to their opponents, so I’m expecting Miami to score.

The DraftKings Sportsbook has this game’s over/under at 47.5, so ‘Vegas’ has this as a relatively high scoring game, too, despite the relative mediocrity of the opposing sides. With Sanders only rostered in 39% of CBS leagues, he’s worth a shot if you’re hurting at Kicker.

Zane Gonzalez vs New York Giants

After a hot start to the season, the Panthers offense has cooled a bit. Fortunately for Panthers fans, Sam Darnold and company travel to New Jersey to face a Giants team who was pretty bad before getting hammered with injuries.

This should be a bounce-back game for anyone in a Panthers uniform, and Gonzalez is only rostered in just over half of leagues. Looking to the bookies for guidance again, the game is pegged at 43 points with the Panthers as a road-favorite. Gonzalez is worth a shot here in Week 7.
