NFL DFS DraftKings Best Stacks for Week 14

Picking the right offense to stack can give your lineups the winning edge. Here are five of the top stacks for Week 14 DraftKings NFL DFS action.

The NFL has punished us by having six teams go on their bye week in Week 14 with fantasy football playoffs right around the corner. In terms of NFL DFS though, the teams that are on a bye week are the Falcons, Bears, Packers, Colts, Saints, and Commanders, so there aren’t any teams we’re clamoring to stack not playing this week.

That being said, we won’t have the Dolphins, Chargers, or Cardinals to stack on the main slate. Meanwhile, we’ll still have plenty of talented teams to choose from on Sunday despite there only being 10 games.

Even with a condensed number of games, here are my five favorite stacks for the Week 14 main slate on DraftKings.

Joe Burrow ($7,000) + Ja’Marr Chase ($7,900) + Tee Higgins ($7,000) or Tyler Boyd ($5,000)

Burrow carved up the defense of the Chiefs for 30.04 points in Week 13 and he’s now scored 30-plus points in two of his last three games. Even with the Browns being strong against QBs this season, Burrow is matchup-proof when he has Chase, Higgins, Boyd, and Joe Mixon available.

Chase looked solid in his return to the lineup in Week 13 as he caught seven of his 8 targets for 97 yards. With Chase back, Higgins now gets to see more single coverage in the offense and despite the Browns shutting down slot WRs this year, Boyd could benefit from Hayden Hurst being doubtful for Sunday’s contest.

Bring-back options: Nick Chubb ($7,800), Amari Cooper ($6,200), Donovan Peoples-Jones ($4,900), David Njoku ($3,900)

Chubb disappointed with only eight points against the Texans in Week 13, so people are likely going to be down on him in Week 14. Even though the Bengals have been fantastic against WRs, Cooper has a 26.1% target share and the Browns are likely going to have to throw to keep up with the Bengals. Peoples-Jones and Njoku are viable salary-relief options on the Browns as long as Njoku returns after missing Week 13.

Jared Goff ($5,600) + Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,800) + Jameson Williams ($4,400) or DJ Chark Jr. ($4,300)

The game with the highest projected total (51.5) on the main slate is the showdown between the Vikings and the Lions. Goff is going to be one of the most popular quarterbacks in Week 14, and for good reason, after he tallied 24.6 points versus the Jaguars in Week 13.

If Goff is throwing the ball, it’s likely going in the direction of St. Brown as he’s posting a 24.6% target share with 10-plus targets in three of his last four games. Williams only had eight offensive snaps in his season debut in Week 13, but we want to try to get ahead of his breakout game before everyone else uses him, so I’ll have some exposure to him on Sunday. Chark had 14.8 points in Week 13 and the Vikings are allowing the second-most points per game to WRs.

Bring-back options: Justin Jefferson ($9,000), Dalvin Cook ($7,300), T.J. Hockenson ($5,100), Adam Thielen ($4,900)

DraftKings is still trying its best to make it tough to pay up at the wide receiver position, but Jefferson is someone that is worth paying up for. Even though the Lions have been much against RBs than people are giving them credit for, Cook’s usage makes him a viable bring-back option. Hockenson is in a revenge game against the Lions and he’s received six-plus targets in each game he’s been on the Vikings. Thielen has fallen to under $5,000 on DraftKings, and while he isn’t giving us a safe floor, he’s always a threat to score a touchdown or two.

Kirk Cousins ($6,100) + Justin Jefferson ($9,000) + T.J. Hockenson ($5,100) or Adam Thielen ($4,900)

On the flip side of the Lions/Vikings matchup, Cousins is certainly viable to stack in Week 14. There isn’t a team giving up more points per game to QBs than the Lions and Cousins unquestionably has a talented group of weapons to target despite his inconsistency this season.

Jefferson owns an impressive 27.6% target share and he’s registered 28-plus points in three of his last five games. Detroit’s defense is allowing the fifth-most points per game to TEs, making Hockenson a fantastic piece to stack with Cousins. Once again, Thielen is a boom-or-bust play in GPPs with his ceiling games happening when he’s scoring touchdowns.

Bring-back options: Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,800), D’Andre Swift ($5,800), Jameson Williams ($4,400), DJ Chark Jr. ($4,300)

Only the Titans are permitting more points per game to WRs than the Vikings and St. Brown has notched 30-plus points in back-to-back weeks. Swift appeared to earn the featured back role back for the Lions in Week 13 as he scored 21.6 points on DraftKings. We’re in the business of trying to play talented players before they have a productive performance and while I won’t have Williams in the majority of my lineups, I’ll certainly have exposure to him. Chark is a nice bring-back piece if you’re stacking Jefferson with Cousins.

Dak Prescott ($6,500) + CeeDee Lamb ($7,500) + Michael Gallup ($4,600) or Dalton Schultz ($4,400)

The team with the highest projected total on the Week 14 main slate is the Cowboys. While the duo Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott should eat against the Texans defense allowing the most points per game to RBs, Prescott is a nice way to differentiate from those using Pollard/Elliott and he’s thrown multiple touchdowns in five consecutive games.

Lamb has been proving that he’s a true WR1 as he’s scored 20-plus points in three out of his last four games. Gallup continues to look better coming off a torn ACL as he recorded a season-best 18.3 points in Week 13. Schultz is Prescott’s security blanket and he’s garnered five-plus targets in five of his last six games.

Bring-back options: Chris Moore ($3,400), Phillip Dorsett ($3,000)

I’m not going to go out of my way to use a bring-back player on the Texans when stacking the Cowboys, but some value could be opening up. Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins are expected to be sidelined for the Texans in Week 14, so Moore and Dorsett could be viable options with Houston likely throwing it often playing behind Dallas’ dynamic offense. But once again, I wouldn’t force a Texans player into my lineup if I’m stacking the Cowboys this week.

Geno Smith ($6,200) + D.K. Metcalf ($7,100) + Tyler Lockett ($6,500) or Noah Fant ($3,100)

Kenneth Walker, Deejay Dallas, and Travis Homer are all injured for the Seahawks at the running back position. With the backfield dealing with injuries, Smith could be relied on more this week as he’s now posted 24-plus points in back-to-back weeks and he’s scored 20-plus points in four straight games. He ranks fourth among QBs in PER rating, averaging 0.52 points per attempt this year.

Metcalf and Lockett are the primary players to stack with Smith after they combined for 17 receptions, 255 yards, and 2 touchdowns in Week 13 versus the Rams. Fant tallied 14.2 points in Week 13 and he’s now registered three-plus receptions in four straight games.

Bring-back options: DJ Moore ($5,500), D’Onta Foreman ($5,400), Terrace Marshall Jr. ($3,600)

With Sam Darnold at quarterback for the Panthers, there is a slight bump up for Moore. Foreman is expected to play this week and he could be overlooked despite facing a Seahawks defense surrendering the second-most points per game to RBs. Even though Moore is the clear No. 1 wide receiver with Darnold operating the offense, Marshall has flashed potential this season and is only $3,600.
