How was your Week 9 in NFL DFS? Mine was a disappointment as my lineup scored just 108.34 points. I only had two selections hit last week, with the Lamar Jackson (35.64 points) to Marquise Brown (23.60 points) connection giving my lineup some sort of credibility. It was my receivers again that let me down, with Amari Cooper, Jarvis Landry and Kadarius Toney all scoring fewer than six fantasy points. I’m looking ahead to Week 10 now and a new DFS lineup. I’ve selected my best DraftKings NFL DFS lineup for the Week 10 Sunday slate of games, breaking down my reasoning for selecting those players and hopefully helping you with your DFS selections for the week ahead.

Note: I’m setting my lineup based on the standard nine player, $50k salary cap setup for the Sunday slate of games, excluding Sunday Night Football.

Quarterback: Dak Prescott vs Atlanta Falcons ($6,900)

Despite the disappointing loss to the Broncos last week, Dak still put up 19.9 fantasy points thanks to a pair of garbage time touchdowns. I’m banking on the Cowboys’ offense bouncing back this week against an average Falcons defense and Dak putting up a bucket of fantasy points to get my lineup off to a great start.

Running Back: Jonathan Taylor vs Jacksonville Jaguars ($8,100)

Taylor has the hottest form of any running back in the league at the moment, with over 21 fantasy points in each of his last six games, with three of those going for over 30 points. As good as the Jaguars’ defense was last week in holding the Bills to just six points, the Bills running game is non-existent and Taylor is the focal point of the Colts’ offense. Easy play this week.

Running Back: D’Ernest Johnson @ New England Patriots ($4,700)

With the rest of the Browns’ running backs on the sideline this week in the COVID protocols, that leaves Johnson with an amazing opportunity to put up some big numbers this week. Johnson made the most of his previous lead-back opportunity in Week 7, scoring 27.8 fantasy points against the Broncos and should do again against a Patriots run  defense that has allowed the 8th most fantasy points to running backs.

Wide Receiver: CeeDee Lamb vs Atlanta Falcons ($7,000)

Lamb has been a boom or bust play this season, with as many games with under 10 fantasy points as those over 20 (3). I’m stacking Lamb with Dak in the hope that they produce one of the latter performances in a strong performance against the Falcons. Lamb consistently leads the team in targets and is why I’m leading my receivers with him this week.

Wide Receiver: Michael Pittman Jr. vs Jacksonville Jaguars ($6,100)

Pittman is one of the form players in the league and is averaging nearly 24 fantasy points per game over the last three weeks. The Jaguars have allowed the third most points to receivers and Pittman should again feast this week.

Wide Receiver: A.J. Green vs Carolina Panthers ($4,600)

Green has cleared the COVID protocols and is all systems go for a big week ahead with DeAndre Hopkins set to miss and second consecutive week and Rondale Moore questionable as he recovers from a concussion.

Tight End: Tyler Conklin @ Los Angeles Chargers ($3,400)

I need a value play at tight end and Conklin offers that, with him averaging 10 fantasy points per game over the last three weeks, thanks to seeing an increased target share as he becomes a reliable outlet for Kirk Cousins.

Flex: Donovan Peoples-Jones @ New England Patriots ($4,800)

With no OBJ now in Cleveland, DPJ has become the main man in the Browns passing game. He has averaged over 80 yards and a touchdown in each of his last three games, and the Patriots’ pass defense is only a a shade better than average and so should continue to put up points this week.

D/ST: Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets ($4,000)

The league’s best fantasy defense facing the second worst offense? Yes please. A no-brainer play to round out my roster this week,
