NFL DFS Lineup Advice & Picks for Week 14

How was your Week 13 in NFL DFS? Mine was disappointing despite me scoring an additional 12 points on my Week 13 lineup. My 129.82 point haul had some highs as Tom Brady threw for 4 touchdowns and Jonathan Taylor had his typical huge day but I also has too many lows thanks to below average days from Jamaal Williams and Marquise Brown, plus a big fat 0 from Boston Scott.  We go again in Week 13 and a new DFS lineup. I’ve selected my best DraftKings NFL DFS lineup for the Sunday slate of games, breaking down my reasoning for selecting those players and hopefully helping you with your DFS selections for the week ahead.

Note: I’m setting my lineup based on the standard nine player, $50k salary cap setup for the Sunday slate of games, excluding Sunday Night Football.

Quarterback: Josh Allen @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($7,800)

Allen is my QB1 for Week 14 and faces a good match up against the Buccaneers. I’m feeling a shootout and Allen throwing a ton so that means lots of lovely fantasy points to kick off my roster this week.

Running Back: Alvin Kamara @ New York Jets ($7,900)

Back from a 4 game absence, Kamara couldn’t wish for a better opposition to return against. He should immediately step back in and shoulder the bulk of the Saints’ offense and that’s good enough for me this week.

Running Back: Josh Jacobs @ Kansas City Chiefs ($6,200)

After a quiet middle of the season, Jacobs has been seeing a big uptick in fantasy output in recent weeks, including a season-high 9 receptions last week. With Darren Waller ruled out again, Jacobs should see another week with high targets along with double digit rush attempts.

Wide Receiver: Terry McLaurin vs Dallas Cowboys ($7,000)

Scary Terry is one of my favorite receivers, and despite a quiet couple of week, has that big game ability and a key divisional game against the Cowboys should bring that out of him. Dallas are bottom 5 in points allowed to receivers, so McLaurin should shine this week as the key target in the Washington offense.

Wide Receiver: Russell Gage @ Carolina Panthers ($5,700)

Gage is revelling in his role as the lead receiver in the Falcons’ offense and saw a season-high 12 targets against the Buccaneers in Week 13. To get a team’s WR1 at this salary is too good to miss this week.

Wide Receiver: Josh Reynolds @ Denver Broncos ($4,100)

Reynolds sticks in my lineup this week after a solid if unspectacular showing in the Lions’ first win of the season last week. With T.J. Hocksenson and Jamaal Williams sidelined this week, Reynolds should see a bigger share of the Lions’ offense and the chance to record another double digit fantasy day.

Tight End: Dawson Knox @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,000)

If I’ve got Josh Allen, I’m stacking him with his tight end who has continually been a strong performer this season. In what should be a high passing game, Knox should see a solid number of targets to turn into lots of fantasy points.

Flex: Jalen Guyton vs New York Giants ($3,400)

With Keenan Allen out of the Chargers’ game with Covid and Mike Williams not certain to play, this raises Guyton’s opportunity to score well this week. As a value play with high upside, Guyton will round out a lot of rosters this week.

D/ST: Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons ($2,800)

This feels like a strong play this week as the Falcons allow the most points to fantasy defenses this season. The Panthers have been no slouches themselves on defense, and are the current DST13 in fantasy. Coming off a bye and with a favorable salary, the Panthers are good value to round out your DFS lineup this week.
