NFL DFS Lineup Advice & Picks for Week 15

How was your Week 14 in NFL DFS? Mine was a case of close but no cigar as an early concussion for Terry McLaurin blindsided my lineup, meaning I finished just outside the money places in my weekly leagues. My lineup scored 138.02 points with the high points being my Bills stack of Josh Allen (42.22 points) and Dawson Knox (19 points), with Alvin Kamara (27.5 points) and Jalen Guyton (17.7 points) also scoring well. Where it all fell down on my receiving corps and defense as they combined for just 20.6 points, including just 2 points from the Panthers DST. Week 15 is going to be an interesting one with the high number of players being added to the COVID list this week, with two games already having been moved from the Sunday main slate to Tuesday. Based on the current information, I’ve selected my best DraftKings NFL DFS lineup for the Week 15 Sunday slate of games, breaking down my reasoning for selecting those players and hopefully helping you with your DFS selections for the week ahead.

Note: I’m setting my lineup based on the standard nine player, $50k salary cap setup for the Sunday slate of games, excluding Sunday Night Football.

Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers @ Baltimore Ravens ($7,500)

Rodgers is flying at the moment and is averaging nearly 30 points per game over the last 3 weeks as he’s led the Packers to be the number 1 seed in the NFC. The Ravens’ season is going in the wrong direction after back to back losses and are allowing an above average number of points to quarterbacks. I have Kyler Murray and Josh Allen ranked higher this week, but Rodgers at his salary has the edge for me this week.

Running Back: James Robinson vs Houston Texans ($5,400)

James Robinson revenge game anyone? With Urban Meyer out in Jacksonville, I’m hoping that means Robinson sees a much bigger workloads and gets back to the sort of production we were seeing earlier in the season. The Texans allow the fifth most points to running backs and so makes Robinson a strong value play this week.

Running Back: Michael Carter @ Miami Dolphins ($4,700)

Keeping my running backs at a low cost this week and Carter is about as fresh as they come after a short stint on IR. Before getting injured in Week 11, Carter hit at least 17 fantasy points in three of his previous four games and should be straight back into seeing a strong number of touches on his return.

Wide Receiver: Davante Adams @ Baltimore Ravens ($8,900)

If I’m taking Aaron Rodgers then I can’t not take his number one receiver who is nailed on for double digit targets this week.

Wide Receiver: CeeDee Lamb @ New York Giants ($7,400)

More high salary investment in my receiving corps this week but Lamb has that high ceiling potential I look for in my DFS lineup. The Cowboys are due a statement offensive game and Lamb is my pick to be the receiver that goes off to support it.

Wide Receiver: Gabriel Davis vs Carolina Panthers ($3,700)

Davis is set to see an uptick in targets with Emmanuel Sanders ruled out for Week 15. With four double fantasy outings since Week 8, I love Davis at this value this week.

Tight End: Dawson Knox vs Carolina Panthers ($5,10000)

Knox retains his place in my lineup this week as he’s just too much of a receiving threat in the Bills offense to ignore. He has double digit fantasy points in three of his last four weeks and is a key red zone weapon for Josh Allen.

Flex: Allen Lazard @ Baltimore Ravens ($4,000)

Lazard is coming of his best game of 2021 and should continue to see a strong numbers of targets as the number two receiver in the Packers’ offense. Lazard is the best value play at the $4k mark and his upside is a nice way to round out my skill position players this week.

D/ST: Buffalo Bills vs Carolina Panthers ($3,100)

The Panthers’ offense has been a mess of late, with Cam Newton not able to turn around the downturn in offensive output that started with Sam Darnold. The Bills need a get right game after three losses in their last four games and have been at their best this season getting after poor offenses. The value is great for a what I’m ranking as the DST5 for Week 15 so will happily be looking at the Bills in my DFS lineups this week.
