It was a tricky week for my fantasy football quarterback rankings in Week 4, with my overall accuracy landing slightly behind the Fantasy Pros expert average. I hit best on Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers this week, with my big misses coming from Tom Brady, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. We go again into Week 5 and continue to look to build on what I’ve seen so far to give you my fantasy football quarterback rankings for this week, and will break down the key streamers and my favorite value DFS plays for the week ahead (price via DraftKings).

Stream of the Week: Daniel Jones @ Dallas Cowboys

Jones has been consistently inconsistent so far this season, underperforming in favorable matchups and then putting up the best fantasy score of the season against the Saints’ defense. Week 5 sees another favorable matchup as the Giants travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys, a team that has given up the fourth-most points to quarterbacks through four weeks. Jones is the current QB8 in fantasy, and at 35% rostered, is a great option for this week.

Alternative streamer – Taylor Heinicke vs New Orleans Saints (19% rostered)

DFS Play of the Week: Kyler Murray ($8,000) vs San Francisco 49ers

No messing about this week, I’m going straight in with the highest priced player on DraftKings and the current QB2 in fantasy. The 49ers have allowed the sixth-most points to quarterbacks, but more importantly, the second-most quarterback rushing points. Murray has 6 different receivers with at least 15 receptions on the season, so picking the right stack is a tricky affair, but even as a solo choice, Murray has the high floor/high ceiling that gets your DFS lineup off to a solid start.
