We’re bringing you the definitive, Week 15 tight end ranks for all your fantasy football needs whether DFS or season-long. Hopefully, you’re not reading this because you’re in your leagues ‘toilet bowl’, but even if so, we never want to finish last. To that end, we’ll hop in to the 2 TEs of note for this week.
Streamer play: Jack Doyle VS New England Patriots
Doyle is a talented tight end who’s managed a rock-solid, 9-year career with the Indianapolis Colts. Using CBS’s rostered percentages, there are just not many exciting tight ends still standing AND under 30% owned. With the Colts coming off their bye week and facing a team who is #1 in stopping opponents’ tight ends (at least in fantasy points terms).
Having said all of that, Doyle’s talent and role with the Colts makes him one of those tight ends who could pop off for 50-60 yards and a TD on any week. We saw this from Doyle a couple of times this year, most recently posting 20.1 PPR points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. He’s rostered in fewer than 10% of leagues for good reason, but if you’re looking for a wing and a prayer, Doyle’s the guy.
DFS Pplay: Mike Gesicki VS New York Jets – $5,000
Gesicki has already tied a career high in targets with 89, and set a new personal best at 59 receptions. Tua Tagovailoa has leaned on Gesicki and rookie phenom Jaylen Waddle heavily this year, no surprise with all the injuries the Dolphins have had to manage in 2021. Against the division foe New York Jets, the Dolphin’s offense is set for a fantasy playoff winning performance. The Jets cannot stop anyone on defense, and plenty of guys in Miami still have plenty for play for (jobs on the line in south-beach). I’m expecting a gigantic game from Tua that trickles down to all the pass catchers in teal.
