Week 12 fantasy football is here and so it’s time to take a look at wide receiver rankings for the weekend.
Here are my .5PPR wide receiver rankings for 2021 Week 12. I’ve also got for you my top streaming option this week along with my favorite DFS play (salary via FanDuel).
Make sure to check back here throughout the week as I will be making sure to update them as quickly as possible with any new information. As always, if you have specific rankings or starts & sits questions, hit me up on Twitter @ginger__nic.
Stream of the Week: Cedrick Wilson Jr. vs Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas at Dallas opened with one of Week 12’s highest over/unders at 51 points. The Cowboys will be likely be playing without both Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. Cooper is out for sure on the COVID-19/Reserve List as he completes his mandatory 10-day isolation period while Lamb is stuck in the league’s concussion protocol, which typically takes 5 days to clear. He’s had a total of 4, but as of today, he’s got less than 24 hours. Wilson will man the slot with the aforementioned absences and has a decent shot of putting up good numbers against LV’s ho-hum slot DB, Nate Hobbs. He’s a high-end WR4.
DFS Play of the Week: Darnell Mooney @ Detroit Lions
Mooney’s hot off a 5-catch, 16-targets, 121 yards and 1 touchdown performance against Baltimore last week. He and backup QB Andy Dalton hooked up for a 60-yard score after Justin Fields exited with a ribs injury. The duo will go for the repeat here as Dalton will get the start while Fields heals–and the pair is lined up to do serious damage. Per SharpFootballStats.com, the Lions’ 12% rate of explosive pass plays allowed is tied for 2nd overall, which suits Mooney’s downfield skill set nicely. He’s a WR2.
