Week 17 fantasy football is here, and so it’s time to take a look at wide receiver rankings for the weekend.
Green Bay Packer Davante Adams should look like his typically dominant self against the hapless Vikings secondary this week. Michael Pittman Jr., Brandon Aiyuk, and Chase Claypool makeup a strong back-end WR2 class. Could Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton make a little noise with Tim Patrick on the COVID-19/Reserve List.
Here are my .5PPR wide receiver rankings for 2021 Week 17. I’ve also got for you my top streaming option this week along with my favorite DFS play (salary via FanDuel).
Make sure to check back here throughout the week as I will be making sure to update them as quickly as possible with any new information. As always, if you have specific rankings or starts & sits questions, hit me up on Twitter @Ginger__Nic.
Stream of the Week: Isaiah McKenzie vs. Atlanta Falcons
McKenzie filled in for slot receiver Cole Beasley last week and gashed the Patriots’ feared DB group for 11 catches on 12 targets, 125 yards and 1 touchdown. The Bills will have their full complement of WRs active this week but Beasley will be fresh off of a bout with COVID-19 and many players have struggled in their first game back after battling the virus. Atlanta’s slot coverage has been ravaged by injury and poor play this year. Fire up McKenzie as a boom/bust WR5 with elite “boom” upside.
DFS Play of the Week: Jaylen Waddle ($7,000) at Tennessee Titans
The do-it-all rookie phenom is closing the season on a tear, lining up regularly both on the perimeter and in the slot while frequently operating as a rusher near the goal-line. For the fantasy championship, Waddle gets to tee off on the league’s second most fantasy friendly defense for opposing wide receivers. Tennessee has allowed 33.9 .5PPR PPG to the position this year. He’s a fantasy WR1.
