Who would’ve known that a Thursday night game between the Jaguars and Jets in December would have playoff implications? The Jaguars are now only one game behind the Titans for the AFC South division after upsetting the Cowboys in overtime in Week 15.
Meanwhile, the Jets are needing every win they can get in the final three weeks of the regular season to sneak into the playoffs following a loss to the Lions in Week 15. And New York has already ruled out Mike White for Thursday’s contest, meaning that Zach Wilson will make another start.
Ahead of what should be a competitive game between the Jaguars and Jets, here are my favorite captain and flex plays for the showdown contest on DraftKings.
Captain Spot Considerations
Christian Kirk ($15,300)
The aerial attack of the Jaguars has been rolling in recent weeks and Kirk remains the No. 1 wideout in the offense. Even though Kirk has scored fewer than 10 points in two out of his last four games, he’s scored 19-plus points in three of his last six. Garrett Wilson ($13,500)
The rookie wideout for the Jets was a true WR1 with Mike White under center. But with Zach Wilson at QB, Garrett Wilson has seen WR1 usage, but struggled to produce WR1 numbers. In last week’s loss to the Lions, the first-year wide receiver caught four of his team-high 9 targets for 98 yards. So…
