NFL DFS Lineup Advice & Picks for Week 7

Building the best Week 7 DFS lineup starts with stacking the Eagles offense and buying into the Matthew Stafford revenge game.

How was your Week 6 in NFL DFS? Mine was not a good one as I had four players flop in my lineup, including my dead cert Kareem Hunt who exited the game with the Cardinals with a calf injury. I saw a slight improvement week on week to score 113.58 points but nowhere near any prizes. The only bright spots were Jonathan Taylor (31.8 points) and Mark Andrews (17.8 points), but otherwise it was another lost week in DFS for me. I’m putting Week 6 firmly in the rear view mirror and looking ahead to a new week and a new DFS lineup. I’ve selected my best DraftKings NFL DFS lineup for the Week 7 Sunday slate of games, breaking down my reasoning for selecting those players and hopefully helping you with your DFS selections for the week ahead.

Note: I’m setting my lineup based on the standard nine player, $50k salary cap setup for the Sunday slate of games, excluding Sunday Night Football.

Quarterback: Jalen Hurts @ Las Vegas Raiders ($6,900)

With a lot of lopsided match ups on the slate this week that could end with the top priced quarterbacks being rested early, I’m taking Hurts in what should be a competitive games between the Eagles and the Raiders. Hurts is the current QB5 in fantasy and already has 300 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns and should go well against what has been an average Raiders defense.

Running Back: Derrick Henry vs Kansas City Chiefs ($9,200)

I knew I’d live to regret leaving Henry out last week and am not making the same mistake this week. The King is worth every penny of his huge price tag this week against one of the league’s worst defenses.

Running Back: Darrell Williams @ Tennessee Titans ($5,800)

If Henry is in then I need value at the RB2 spot and Williams had a strong showing last week against Washington and should do well again as the team’s top running option. The Titans have been dead average against the run and the Chiefs’ explosive offense should feast and Williams with it.

Wide Receiver: Chris Godwin vs Chicago Bears ($5,900)

No Antonio Brown this week sees Godwin’s target share rise and gives him WR1 potential. He’s not had that big game that we known he has the potential to produce this season, but the Buccaneers offense if humming and I’m backing Godwin to break out this week against an average Bears defense.

Wide Receiver: Robert Woods vs Detroit Lions ($6,400)

Woods had a quieter Week 6 after his 150 yard outing in Week 5, but did manage to find the end zone against the Giants. Its a great match up against the Lions this week and their 30th ranked pass defense, and even if Cooper Kupp goes off again, there’s more than enough targets available for Woods to get his too at this much better value.

Wide Receiver: Dante Pettis vs Carolina Panthers ($3,000)

With injuries plaguing the entire Giants offense at the moment, Pettis did OK last week, catching 5 passes for 48 yards and should again by default see another high number of targets this week. I needed value in my lineup and Pettis offered the biggest upside of the value players this week.

Tight End: Dallas Goedert @ Las Vegas Raiders ($4,600)

After missing Week 6, Goedert returns from the COVID list to find the tight end room lacking his old running mate with Zach Ertz traded to the Cardinals. This frees up Goedert to be the main man and with Hurts in my lineup, I’m hoping the two come together to put up points this week.

Flex: J.D. McKissick @ Green Bay Packers ($5,000)

McKissick is very much a boom or bust play but with Antonio Gibson seemingly on the edge of missing serious time with a shin injury, McKissick should see additional rushes on top of his work in the passing game. Facing a Packers team that should feast against Washington’s poor defense, McKissick should see a ton of touches and lots of fantasy points.

D/ST: Arizona Cardinals vs Houston Texans ($3,100)

This game overall feels like a mismatch with the unbeaten Cardinals, who are 2nd in my overall team NEFF ratings and 3rd in defensive NEFF facing a Texans team ranked 29th overall with the 30th ranked offense. The Cardinals are at their highest price of the season but are still great value this week as the DST7 in DFS pricing, especially as they have three double digit fantasy scores already this season. Low risk, high reward to finish off my DFS roster in Week 7.

Who are you rostering in your DFS lineups this week?
